THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE ORDERING

We have lots of great info about this over on our Decal Info and Guides page

Absolutely! We are happy to add simple tissue paper wrap and a handwritten gift message to any order. Just leave us a note when you order.

Check the sizing information for the designs you are looking at - it's often really difficult to envisage how large something will appear when it's on the wall. A good tip to help with this is to use some masking tape and even pieces of paper on the wall, to show you how big the decals will look.

It generally takes us between 2-4 business days to make your decals. Check out our Delivery info for more information on our expedited shipping options and delivery timescales.

If you need your decals in a hurry, please let us know and we will do what we can to prioritise your order.

Our decals are designed to work on walls of all types - you may just need to use high tack.

Our standard decals are perfect for lightly textured walls, but for heavy texture we recommend high tack. This is because less of the decal is in contact with the wall, and so you need the parts that are, to be adhered even more securely.

We are happy for you to return your decals for any reason within 30 days of delivery. You need to inform us of your intention to return the decals within 14 days of delivery. This excludes our custom name decals as they have been made especially for you and we are not able to use them in any way.

About The Decals

Our decals are made from a very fine weave polyester fabric. They use the very best materials out there - they are non toxic, PVC, BPA and phthalates free. The inks we use to print the decals are premium water-based pigment inks with incredible light fastness and permanence.

We have two levels of tackiness available - high tack or standard

All our decals are made by us in our Studio. We take hand painted artwork (painted by our in-house award winning illustrator) and print it using water-based archival pigment inks onto eco-friendly self adhesive fabric. We then die-cut and hand finish the decals before packing and shipping them all around Australia and the world.

We love and find inspiration from the natural world around us, and are passionate about making sure we do all we can to look after it. We use recycled/recyclable/biodegradable materials whenever we can, source everything we can locally and avoid waste and single plastics wherever possible.

We often have feedback from our customers that our decals are amazing quality compared to anything they have had before. This is what we aim for.

It is also important to remember that not all decals are removable and wall friendly and so our standard decals may be lower tack than other you have tried in the past. If you are worried about whether to get our high tack or standard, read our info here

We do not recommend using our standard decals on glass as they may leave some residue when you come to remove them. If you do want to use your decals on glass, let us know as we have a great option for this.

Using the decals

It really doesn't get any easier than our standard decals. They are truly peel & stick, no tools are necessary, and if you put them in the wrong place you can just peel them off and apply them again and again.

We always tell our customers that our high tack is a little more fiddly than the standard, which can in turn make people worried about using it. Really, it's not difficult at all, you just need to be a little bit careful. The big thing to watch out for is not letting the sticky side stick to itself as it's quite difficult to get it to come apart.

If your walls need something with extra tack, then it is 100% the best option and we are confident you will find it surprisingly easy to use. Head over to our info and guides to find more information on our high tack decals.

If you need to move, don't worry, the decals can come with you. If you still have the backing from your order you can pop the decals back onto that, otherwise baking paper/parchment is fine. You can then roll them up and store them whilst you move.

TROUBLESHOOTING

The number one reason we see for decals peeling is stain resistant paint. You will probably have seen us mention it a lot in the course of looking at our decals. It is almost exclusively the cause of decals of all kinds not adhering well to the wall.

Head over to our paint guide for more info and advice on this.

Our decals are designed to be used and moved over and over. The main issue with doing this is that, as inherently sticky objects, they can pick up dust and fluff very easily. This is why we recommend wiping your walls. If this has happened despite your best intentions you are actually able to rinse the back of the decals very gently with cold water (no scrubbing or soap as this will degrade the adhesive).
